- Teach in China
"Together,
the students and the community have shown me such
solid hospitality, warmth and have acted to make
my transition in their great country one without
thought. At these moments my heart is full of
thanks. I think about Alliance Abroad, Rich and
Suzanne, without whom I would never know such
a life. I would never broaden my understanding,
I would never have the chance to live China. To
all at Alliance Abroad, my strongest appreciation
and thanks. You will never know how much your
help has meant.

“Things
are great here!!! I love my family...they are
so nice and treat me like a member of the family.
They know English less than I thought they would,
but that is OK by me. I couldn't’t have
asked for a better family. Even though I’m
not right in Madrid, it’s not that far and
I kind of like being away from the city madness.
I’ve only been here two weeks, but I’ve
already done two trips, one to Segovia and another
to my family’s ranch in Daimiel. I’m
really very happy."

- Volunteer in Ecuador
"Last weekend I went with
some friends to the higher part of the island.
It only took about 20 minutes to feel like I was
in an entirely different place. It reminds me
of Boulder and how easy it really is to get away
for a night or two. It was like semi rainforest.
We could see a gorgeous view of the ocean far
away and there were 500lb turtles all over the
place, just doing their own thing! Their so damn
cute to watch! I seriously could sit and just
watch them for hours even though they do nothing!

- Volunteer in Peru
"I learned so much about the history and
culture while enjoying the natural and man-made
beauty of Peru. It was an adventure of a lifetime.
I marvel at the beauty of the mountains, the valleys,
and the rivers. I'm awed in the works of the Inca
ruins and terraces and water irrigation. And I
was fascinated to see the people in the market
places and see them come and go in the towns we
visited. It was an experience I'll always remember"

- Work in Australia (Outback)
"It was hard to take in everything that had
happened in such a small space of time. The electrifying
atmosphere, the rush of adrenalin, and the magnificent
taste of a cold beer at the end of it all. Definitely
an experience like no other. In fact I think experience
isn't strong enough a word. More 'one-hell-of-an-experience!"

- Work in England
“I
had a wonderful time over in England and would
do it again in a heartbeat. It was an amazing
experience, a little scary in the beginning, but
once I settled in I loved it. Going through Alliance
Abroad Group was well worth it because they took
care of everything, including my work visa, insurance,
finding the job for me and a place to live. I
think that really helped once I arrived in London,
because otherwise I would not have known where
to begin looking for work and a place to stay.
They placed me in a wonderful location and I really
enjoyed working at the bar and became good friends
with the owners and other staff. It was a really
great time and I plan on visiting them all again
in the future."

- Work/Travel in Australia
"I came away learning a new way of life and
am now planning on returning to Australia. I have
become more independent and am planning on doing
more work abroad, traveling to different places
all over the world. I have fallen in love with
Australia, it’s such a shame you only get
a once in a lifetime experience like this."
