How it Works

AAG strives to find teachers that are able to flourish in an American classroom setting and exceed all expectations. We will discuss your school's needs, including the number of teachers you are looking for, the subjects of most need, and the backgrounds of the teachers you would like.

Step 2: Recruitment Process

AAG’s selection process is comprehensive and detailed in order to ensure that both the international teacher and the school are able to achieve success. We know how important teachers are to the success and development of a student, so every prospective teacher is evaluated in detail.

Our screening process includes:

  • Reference Checks
  • Evaluation of All Transcripts and Documents
  • Proctored Writing Samples
  • Test for English Proficiency
  • Evaluation for State and Federal Qualifications

    If the teacher passes these initial stages of the application process, AAG will provide schools with a list of teachers that meet their standards and needs. AAG will:

  • Provide resumes of all potential teachers.
  • Provide Schools with a brief 3-5 minute introductory video of teachers for your review (may not be available in all cases).
  • Coordinate phone interviews with potential teachers at a time that is convenient for you.
  • Obtain any additional information requested by schools.

    • Step 3: Once we have matched the teacher to your school, the support process really begins! We will work with you and your state officials to obtain the appropriate credentialing for the teacher. We will help orient the teacher before they come, help them get their visa and make all flight arrangements to get them to your school. Our Support Team will help them get settled and support them throughout the time they are in the United States. We are invested in the success of the teacher in your school!

    We strive to make the transition as easy as possible for both the teacher and the school. AAG has over 17 years of experience of recruiting and bringing international employees to the United States. AAG will:

  • Assist teachers in visa process,
  • Secure work authorization, and teacher licenses on behalf of schools and teachers.
  • Assist teachers in transportation to the United States and finding housing near schools.
  • Conduct an orientation for teachers upon arrival
  • Provide Teachers with access to health insurance
  • 24/7 emergency assistance and support throughout the entire process.
